Blue Host

With totally customized and edited cPanel Hosting Control Panel (http://cpanel.net), Blue Host are one of the very few companies that break the borders of the usual control panel. My personal opinion is that if you want to do something right in the control panel, you have to go to a support representative for sure.

The original flexibility of the cPanel is restricted so the control panel can be as much user friendly as possible, but at the end, the result requires the assistance of a support rep, which can take you a while, due to the usual queue on the support line. Usually stable servers and reduced amount of load and spam, Blue Host provides decent services, but if you require often changes into the e-mails, domains, databases you might face some issues.

Blue Host is one of the companies that very much rely on changing the means of the technical terms for marketing purposes. In my experience this causes a lot of issues afterwards, because the customers begin to confuse what is what. For example if you go to bluehost.com you will see the Privacy offered for the domains. Usually Domain Privacy is a status of the domains that is placed by the registrar and it always comes on a certain charge, but in this case it’s a marketing trick so the people can think they get something that usually costs money. Note that this is just a default WHOIS information that Blue Host put there instead of your personal details.

Blue Host is not a bad place to host your site, but make sure to always look at what you are buying and always take a good eye on the current promotions and big signs.
