Like us, Apollo Hosting likes Miva and they have their marketing campaigns and hosting plans built so Miva can run smoothly on the server. Of course Miva is just a store and a hosting account is just a hosting, so it doesn’t make any difference where it’s hosted. These days every company rely on something so they can promote themselves on the Internet and Apollo rely on the additional features you can get for “free” if you want to build an E-commerce site. For example if you go to http://apollohosting.com/hosting/comparePlans.php you will see tons of features listed there, but unfortunately most of them are rather useless.

The company policy is based on very low prices for the end customers, so every one around the world can sign up on reasonable prices. Since Go Daddy is a registrar and not only a host, they can afford to provide very low prices on the domains and they put a serious marketing campaign for this, so they can gain more hosting customers this way.

The best price however is not always the best product :

1) With the very low rates on the domains, this is an attractive host for absolutely everybody, which means that a lot of people with bad intentions also get signed up with them. With totally customized and edited cPanel Hosting Control Panel (http://cpanel.net), Blue Host are one of the very few companies that break the borders of the usual control panel. My personal opinion is that if you want to do something right in the control panel, you have to go to a support representative for sure.

The original flexibility of the cPanel is restricted so the control panel can be as much user friendly as possible, but at the end, the result requires the assistance of a support rep, which can take you a while, due to the usual queue on the support line. Usually stable servers and reduced amount of load and spam, Blue Host provides decent services, but if you require often changes into the e-mails, domains, databases you might face some issues.
